  What a day. Up’en at’m at 6:45 am, take Brandy to groomers in Clio, breakfast at the Classic Coney Island, pick up Brandy, go next door to Dotty’s pet food for bird seed. Got on I-75 South to Fenton to Spicer’s Orchards and picked up 2 flats of strawberries.Momma is tireless driving a total of 100 miles.

  Momma trimmed & crushed the fruit while Brandy and I took my sore back for a siesta.

  The result of 6 hours of canning with time out for lunch? 21 jars of rhubarb-strawberry and 39 jars of strawberry. Now if I can stop spilling sugar on the stove-top and starting any more fires, everything will be fine.
