The finished project. Then the rains came!

This is the result of four inches of rain washing out my neighbors ditch resulting in plugging our culvert with straw and netting.

The runoff went over the driveway, washing out the edge of it, and exposing the culvert.

The erosion continued down the slope towards my other neighbor. A call to the road commission brought an inspector out who started the job of correcting the damage.

Since having my vision go South this is what happened in our front yard. First they cut down the oldest trees on the property which happen to be in the right of way.

This is what it looked like after.

They were taking out the stumps.

They used my yard to stockpile all the cut trees from the next store lots.

After reshaping the ditches, seeding. and setting straw they started repaving.

This is two of our contractors hard at work.

This is some of the material to rebuild the driveway. All seemed to be going well.. More to come!
