Couldn’t leave well enough alone, could we? Just had to try that new food mill, didn’t we? So Momma decided we should do the two recipes I had printed out,meaning to make NEXT year. We now have 8 4oz jars of Cranberry-Maple Chutney and 16 jars of .Marinara sauce ‘COURSE WE ONLY HAD TO BUY THE TOMATOES,CRANBERRIES,CARROTS, CELERY, MAPLE SYRUP , ONIONS AND 1 LAST CASE OF JARS.
Glad to hear it, Jay. I might be heading for a surgery for my neck in the next few months, and having had such a surgery before I am hoping that the recuperation this time will be better than the last time.
As for pain pills, since my last operation I take two different types of pills that I have to see my doctor every month for. I am at the high end of the pain management scale, but even then it isn’t enough. I guess the doctors are afraid to prescribe such medications since they are so often abused, but unfortunately people like me get short changes because of those good intentions. But, that’s the way it goes I guess.

You know, Jay, I thanked Momma for the jams she sent to me not long ago, but I should also recognize the other half of the Axsom Jam Company.
The jams you two sent were delicious, and my father, who lived in Coldwater Michigan when he was much younger, especially enjoyed them. I don’t know if they were just that tasty, (which most certainly may have been the case,) or if it was because they came from Michigan, but he insisted I thank you two for the wonderful gifts of jam.

We decided to put the Chutney in four oz. jars so we could open one, use it up, and not have several partial jars in the fridge. This also allows use a variety of chutneys more frequently. So the adventure continues as we run the stores out of jars!!
